Looking forward to the Professor’s Visit

It’s shuffle time for the cube and the Professor has agreed to help me. Looking forward to it. Might be some photos of the work that we do.

Looking at scheduling the next Cube Night and organizing invites. Litigator has provided some availability. Also, wondering if non-Saturdays would work for some? Please comment.

I am also looking at my collection overall. Generally as I pour over the collection, I end up pulling cards to add to my decks. Well, I have sorted all those cards and I’ve added some fairly substantial purchases as well recently so those will need to be organized. Also, I am working on opening a Store on TCG Player. The store name is Things for Thinking. It’s not live yet as we are still working on some details on the backend (we’re in testing). Things For Thinking will primarily be store front for Action Figure stuff but I will be trading cards through TCGPlayer to keep things current. My niche on the site will be lands and rocks. I’ll be calling that effort “MrGonz’s Manabase”

Working on the Cube

I’ve finally had some breathing room to update and refresh my Vintage Cube. You can follow along here:

My Cube on Cube Cobra

I am open to suggestions for adds and cuts. I will not be adding themed creatures (no merfolk or goblin decks should be created via my cube) though there may be more than one creature of a given type included. I just want some creature diversity.

Once this refresh is complete, I will be working on scheduling a cube night. I will be hosting this at my place so be mindful when RSVP for the event when you get your invitation. Let me know below that you are interested in receiving an invite to Cube Night at the Ford.

Comander’s Quarters – Commander, EDH, cEDH and Multiplayer Channel

I thought that this was interesting video. Talking about the worst decks to play against might lead to groups having better multiplayer games. I know that a few of my decks are described. I see a bunch of yours too. Actually, it’s almost like they have complied a complete list of our group’s decks here. Do we have a mole tattling on us?

I wonder if the suggestion of announcing your intention to play a Salt-inducing deck would provide some interesting outcomes. Essentially when playing a Salty deck, you’d be hanging a “Kick Me” sign on your back.
